Memorial Run

Comox Valley Road Runners would like to announce the annual CVRR Memorial Run. This year the event will be held Sunday, November 22, beginning at the Salish Building at10 am. Registration is 9:15-9:45. This annual run is in recognition of people who we have lost. That might include club members such as Lorne Franks, John Siemens, Paul Ervin and Terry Nielsen, or you may want to run in the memory of someone else who was close to you. This is an event for people of all levels from walkers to runners, strollers welcome (no dogs please). It is not about speed. You can walk, jog or run at whatever speed you wish. Participants predict the time that they will run, anywhere from 3 to 10 K, with the winners being the closest to their own predicted time. Maximum time allowed is 50 minutes. No watches or timing devices are allowed. CVRR welcomes all club members and the public to take part in the event. There will be draw prizes as well as a perpetual trophy awarded to the winners.

A Pot Luck will follow. Please bring something to share as well as cup, plate, cutlery and some good stories.

A short AGM will follow the Pot luck.

Hope to see you all at any or all of these events.
