Track n Trail Kids Run

The Comox Valley Exhibition would like to once again invite families to the Track n’ Trail Kids' Fun Run. 

The run takes place at the exhibition grounds on Saturday, August 26th, 2017.
 
Race Day Registration:  9:00-9:45 am, Dove Creek Entrance (on Dove Creek Road)
 
Registration and entry to the Exhibition is free for all participants for the day (parents must pay entry to CVEX)
 
Warm-up: 9:45 am @ Horse Track Start Area
 
Race Time:  10:00 am, Marshmallows start (ages 5 and under) run the 500 m horse track.  Then, the Chicklets (ages 6-9) run a 1 km loop in the trails, followed by the Truffles (ages 10 and up) completing a 1.5 km trail
 
Awards:  11:00 am
 
This annual event is made possible by our major sponsors Comox Valley Road Runners, CVEX and Organic Sleep and CVRV.  We love being able to offer this one of a kind experience for our community

The 10K Run is a scenic course, part road, part trail that winds through Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park and along the beautiful oceanfront.

On BC Day, as part of Comox Nautical Days celebrations, Comox Valley Road Runners will be holding a 4 Mile Road Race through the streets of Comox.

The race can claim the record of being the longest continuously held race in British Columbia and this year will be the 48th continuous year the race has been held.
